The Book of Heaven With Jim Warren & J Woo
The purpose of this podcast is to learn about God, to become more like Christ, to learn God’s word, and help others. To whom does this Bible study belong? this is Christ’s Bible study and yours his children. I am just the insttrument of its decimination. Who am I? I am Jim Warren. Jesus Christ is the center of my life and I have been leading Bible studies for fifty years now. (yes I am older than dirt!) I Was born in 1927. My commission is found in Nehemiah 8:8 (KJV) ”So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading”. With the help of my sidekick Jonathan Woolley (J Woo), it is my job to help you get the sense of what God is saying from his word. His word is the important thing. This is not an exhaustive commentary on God’s word. I just want you to understand God’s word so that you may put it to good use in your life and bless others as well. I wish to give credit to J. Vernon Magee. His studies called ’Through the Bible’ have been very helpful to me. I also used a helpful commentary book called ’Bible Knowledge Commentary’ from Dallas Theological Seminary. What Bible translation are we using? The King James Version. For our study you may use any virsion. Any doctrinal divisions will be judged by the King James. There are three divisions in the study. this is the order that i follow. This way students read the scriptuer at least twice. They will also read it when they answer in the packet of questions that can be found in the link below as PDF files. THe divisons: 1) Read the chapter. 2) Discuss the packetof study questions. 3) Exposit the verses.
